Review by hotel critic
During my recent weekend retreat at Beinn Breagha in Fort William, I found a delightful blend of comfort and convenience, perfect for my small group getaway. Nestled in a serene area, the location was an ideal starting point for tackling the awe-inspiring Ben Nevis, while also offering stunning mountain views from the property itself. The attention to detail in the accommodation was evident, with a modernized kitchen that was not only well-stocked but also made it easy for us to create our own meals—ideal for our budget-conscious traveling party! The thoughtful welcome basket, complete with prosecco and breakfast goodies, added a special touch that made us feel right at home. We particularly appreciated the pet amenities available, which catered beautifully to my friend's furry companion. With dog bowls and a blanket provided, our four-legged friend was just as comfortable as we were. After long days of exploring, the cozy setting, including very comfortable beds and a welcoming warmth from the fireplace, ensured a restful retreat, readying us for each new adventure. Rosie’s attentive communication was exemplary; she promptly responded to our inquiries, making our stay smooth and hassle-free. If we return to Fort William, Beinn Breagha will surely be our first choice again.
